This swim shirt was designed for my granddaughter for swimming locally (we are in Florida) and on vacation to protect her from UV rays. We swim a lot here so UV builds up which is a problem. It is very light and burns easily, which this shirt helps prevent. She is eleven years old and small, about 85 pounds; The small shirt in this women's size fits her perfectly, so I think that while these shirts are stretchy, they fit on the small side. The shirt is very well made and it looks great on her and she loves it.
