I read the instructions first! I pulled an old PD from my Dell 2330dn printer. My printer has been placed in an error state and needs to be reset according to the instructions on the printer screen. The reset takes 15 seconds. Insert the new drum into the printer, and then the toner cartridge. Printer started, everything works.
