My 10 year old gives two thumbs up and begs for more. She may wear navy blue or hunting stockings or tights with her school uniform. We had our first big day yesterday so she put on the pair I bought her to try on. She has a very hard time fitting into anything but tights are a big disappointment because she is petite but has long legs (55 inches tall, 60 pounds, 20 inches waist, 25 inches inseam). Most tights are too loose. on the legs, the waist is so big that she cannot wear it, or the rise of the pantyhose is so high that it looks like she is wearing a body suit. They fit her very well (I bought 8-10). She said they were comfortable and warm. She's dropped her waist by a belt width, but that doesn't compare badly to some of the other tights she's worn in the past. They washed up well and are only $10 for a pair if she loses them in gym class or off road I won't be upset. I put them in a linen bag and washed them in a machine and then dried them on a low. There was a slight shrinkage in leg size (girth, not length), but that was fine for her skinny legs. I would dry them rather than tumble dry if they fit perfectly before washing just to be on the safe side.
