This is a great option if you like to keep your shoes in your closet with your clothes. My husband said the closet smelled like feet (although I don't have foot problems) and he wanted me to store all my shoes downstairs by the garage door. Emm, no. I found this product and love it! Some of my rarely worn shoes/boots are gathering dust in the closet. These stackable holders can hold up to 4 pairs of short boots and up to 5 pairs of heels depending on the heel. I place the shoes side by side so that the back of the shoe is facing forward and the matchstick is upside down behind it. I stacked them two high and they hold their shape. Despite the window, the shoes aren't that easy to see, so I take a picture of the shoes in each and tape them to the front of each box. The only thing I would do differently would be to add velcro, a large fastener, or even a buttonhole to the window flap to keep it closed. However, I can highly recommend it as shoe storage. I plan to buy more because I love buying shoes. :)
