Ok so it was really fun to take out of the box and lay out. Attaching to the tank is easy, 5 stars is easy. .Probably the brightest light I have other than the one that came with the 200 gal. It works for a standard 20 gallon Hmm no you need 2 of these. It's also too tall for 20 gallons to work properly with plants. You can get away with half-stone, half-green scenery, and one will be fine. The blue light is bright and suitable for the evening without any disturbing dark blue. This light will not work for plants that are red or need bright light, best in low light.
