Great sound, poor connectivity

They're great, have amazing sound, are comfortable, but when you're more than 3 feet from the phone (distance from headphones to case) they start to lick. I live in a small apartment and in an open space (kitchen) I can't wash dishes without interruption and possible signal loss.
