I've tried centrifugal brush cleaners, tried making my own scrubber, used bar soap but my brushes never get completely clean or clean after cleaning. This attitude is different. The included cleaning products do not damage my makeup brushes. Not to mention that my brushes are actually clean. This is partly due to the included scrubber. There are holes on the back of the scrubber to put my fingers in and hold on to if I want to. No matter what area I use on my brushes, the scrubber doesn't damage or pull the bristles out of my brushes. Plus I can put it in the sink if I want and it stays in place. The included cleaners really clean my brushes thoroughly, even deep inside. I wouldn't have thought it possible either, but they do seem to be softer. It takes a little detergent, nothing extra, so it's definitely cost-effective.
