Review on πŸ‘§ White Dress Girls by Jim Case

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good summer reading.

I'll be honest, I ordered this book by its cover (I know I get talked about a lot, but don't worry, this review is from a successful 20-something adult.) Also have some of my Pinterest followers kept repinning it, so I thought it might be worth a try. It was a good light read for the summer. However, the narration of the story was so confusing to me that I had to keep going back to the book to remember who was who. The description says the book is about the lives of three friends, but I had to read different chapters about at least six different girls. Isabella was the only character who could be easily identified as one of the main characters from start to finish. She was also the only character I could identify with. If it weren't for its plot, I probably would have stopped reading it two weeks ago. Other than that, this book wasn't anything special to me, but it will look very nice on my bookshelf. I wouldn't mind reading more from the author, but I can only hope that it will be easier to read than it was.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
