Solid build and great value, but sleep mode sometimes works inappropriately

I was surprised to find such a good tome at such a ridiculously low price. I really like almost everything about it, except for the implementation of the sleep mode with magnetic actuation. For the first few days I had the tablet suddenly turn off and fall asleep on its own, seemingly refusing to wake up; even when toggling the power button. I thought I might have a defective S5e. In this case, I was able to open the case cover on the back and close the case cover over the display. Then open it again and the tablet will turn back on immediately. Eventually, I noticed that unintentional sleep occurred when I changed my body position. The tablet slid slightly in my lap while the lid was folded all the way over and touching my back, and as I moved my knees this lid moved relative to the bottom of the case and tablet. My theory is that the magnet on the lid is slightly stronger than the tablet's display sleep sensor; This means the display sensor picks up the movement of the cover through the bottom of the case and tablet and thinks it's being directed to power off. Maybe that's because the tablet is incredibly thin compared to my other Samsung "S" tablets in the past; as a result, the distance between the display and the folded cover is smaller than usual. To test this theory, I tried leaving the lid cover fully open and hanging by the side of my knees where it didn't even touch the back of the case. and a table. Then there were no cases when the tablet fell asleep inappropriately. I've also tried folding the lid cover along one of the "support" reading position lines so that the lid partially tucks under the back of the folio but doesn't completely overlap the back of the cover; Again, there were no such unintended occurrences. I then tried to intentionally recreate the behavior by bending the lid all the way around the back where it makes full contact with the back and then intentionally sliding the lid in and out slightly to make it fit the back perfectly and the back is tight. the back. This movement can recreate an unintentional dream. However, good coverage at a reasonable price. The seller of my tablet wanted $39.95 for what appears to be a folio cover in the same style.
