We used this cooler on a hike in Kentucky last October (everyone should see the Moonbow at Cumberland Falls State Park at least once in their life) and it did exactly what it was supposed to do. He froze frozen food throughout the 8 hour drive and kept everything in order during the week we camped. However, today we plugged it in in preparation for a short hike to cool it down and found that the fan wasn't working and part of the lid got very hot. It didn't get cold at all. It lasted less than three months and was only used for a week. I'm giving it two stars because it did a great job while it was working but not anymore.
