Hi-Float really works! I was skeptical based on the reviews. Since there were several positive reviews, we decided to give it a try for $5. We ran some tests to find out what works and what doesn't. No doubt every Hi-Float balloon was still floating stably 72 hours later. We had to leave our balloon bouquet behind due to travel, so we're not sure how long our balloons lasted. Some tips that may be helpful when using the g Hi-Float. You must use a very small amount. I used a long pump/dispenser by sliding the can over the spout and pumping a small amount around the can while it was on the spout. I have found that if I apply too much Hi-Float my balloon will not rise. Each balloon only requires a very, very thin layer/seal. Fill your balloon with helium fairly soon after using the Hi-Float or it will begin to dry out and the balloon will burst when inflated. After filling a few balloons, it's pretty quick. Definitely worth taking the extra step. Without Hi-Float, my previous homemade helium balloons would only last a meager 4-6 hours. lame! Hi-Float really keeps your helium balloons flying for days!
