I never found the toner I needed and didn't notice a difference when I used it. I don't wear makeup and don't have the extra time for extra steps. This toner changed my mind! It's so refreshing and moisturizing! My skin feels moisturized and so soft and clean after using this toner! This proved to me that the extra step isn't really that much extra work and is totally worth it. It has a very nice presentation, it is packed in a nice box and the bottle is very nice. It has an attachable tip that makes it easy to use a cotton swab. I felt that using a cotton pad wasted some product, so I squirt the toner right into my hands and apply it directly to my face. This saves product, but may not be ideal if you're trying to use a toner for extra exfoliation like you would with a cotton pad. Overall I'm very happy with this toner (and all the products I've used from this line so far) and would highly recommend it even to those who don't think they need toner.
