take it how you want This is a spotlight

I love this light bar. This is the first LED panel I've bought and I love the light output. A few things to watch out for. 1. The mounting brackets that come with the flashlight make it very difficult to choose the angle of the "beam" because the hex head screws are practically touching the surface you are installing the brackets on when trying to direct the light forward, so you need to remove the brackets from where you installed them and adjust the direction of the light, then reinstall and check again. (Note: I didn't install it on top of my car, I installed it on the lower half of the front bumper of my '04 Grand Cherokee). but extremely difficult to remove to adjust the light and then refit. To get around this, I went to Harbor Freight and got (3) 95 pound magnets (pull strength, not weight) pre-drilled for 4.99 ($15). Went to Lowes and got (3) 2-1/2" grade 5 screws (to fit properly in mounting bracket) (3) 1" washers/washers and lock washers. Insert the screw into the bracket, insert the spacer under the bracket, then place the magnet under the spacer and secure with the nuts. The magnet sits flush with the metal frame of the bumper. ** Have since ordered some stronger magnets (although the Harbor Freight magnets work great) to replace so they stay in place. 2. Although it is stated as @ 29700LM I can assure you that is not the case. I have high beam LED headlights in a clear housing just like the LED light bar and they are at least 2 times brighter than the light bar itself and are rated at 2000 lumens (but the light bar offers a wider viewing angle compared to the headlights, so you can see farther to the left and right of the car). So even if the light bar isn't as bright, the viewing angle itself compensates for this. My biggest problem with this purchase so far. BELT NOT INCLUDED! Yes, yes, I know. You have to get that extra. But you know, it's a nice little surprise when they add a button, fuse or relay to make sure the customer has at least something to make them work. As I already had a bag full of 20A toggle switches (3 pins) and a couple of built in fuse boxes on hand it wasn't much of a problem but from an unequipped person's point of view it wasn't much of a problem. It seems confusing. You sell lights, then on a whole different site you sell wire harnesses, in fact you sell several different wire harnesses. Instead, you should have the options listed to choose a lightbar with a strap, or a lightbar with a strap and a switch, or something else. Trying to find the right angle but not being able to easily attach and adjust it had to instead install and test to see what works best for your use. I can think of several different options to replace this mounting option and it won't be worth the extra cost on the market.

Pros
  • SUPER BRIGHT: three-row combo beam with center reflector cup design for maximum light output
