Review on AKG K72 Pro Audio Studio Headphones in Matte Black – Over-Ear, Closed-Back Design for Superior Sound by Haruto Asahi ᠌

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Not a good product, not worth the money.

I took them for a digital piano, but they did not fit. The sound is just terrible, anything but a piano. Feelings as if the frequencies were deliberately twisted / cut in random order. For the sake of laughter, I tried to compare it with the old ATH-M50 in the audio interface, but where is it! . I replaced it with the HD600, of course, everything is OK with them, in any application. The piano is like a real one, the rest of the instruments are clear and natural. It is clear that it is pointless to compare the AKG K72 with the ATH-M50 and HD600, but even did not expect that headphones in this price category could be so stupid. I do not recommend. They destroyed my faith in inexpensive headphones.

Pros
  • Price, probably. Comfortable, at least not immediately cause inconvenience.
Cons
  • Terrible sound, strong distortions, it is enough to listen through them to any instrument or a more or less high-quality track for half a minute to make everything clear.
