Haven't used a backpack yet. I tried. And I like it. It fits my 15" laptop perfectly. It has 3 large pockets and 2 compartments, main and outside. This is the perfect backpack for those who don't have much to carry. It's simple and for a laptop, accessories and maybe two books it's ok i received what i bought i read the sizes and info and that's what they advertised the material looks quality (but wait its a cheap backpack) don't expect one Kevlar or carbon fiber reinforced astronaut material. I laughed at some of the reviews that said it has quality materials. Also the stitching looks great. This is probably NOT a high performance backpack. If you are looking for something more durable just look elsewhere. I... will update this review if anything goes wrong in the future but as long as i'm happy
