I don't know why polyester is considered "Super Soft" [it says in the description and on the label but the fabric isn't listed on the label] , but these sheets are not soft at all, they feel like plastic because it's literally polyester. No doubt I could try to make them softer, but they're not a polyester/cotton blend, they're 100%. Of course it is my credit that I didn't notice that before I bought it. In any case, even if I could soften them, they wouldn't breathe at all.
