I bought this belt due to an allergy to nickel and so far have had no issues with this aspect. The problem is that I've only had this belt for two weeks and the buckle trim is already chipping and peeling off. This is very disappointing considering the cost and the "Made in the USA" advertising. I've had other belt buckles that have lasted for years and I've never seen a buckle wear out like this, let alone two weeks. I would not recommend this belt.
