Basically the best of camera mounts and clips
I have this as a quick release stabilizer for gimbal (DJI Ronin-S) and it works great except for one glitch. The part is solid and more than strong enough for the job, but the base plate has about 1/4 inch of play, which can cause the camera to wobble when tilted. There's no risk of the camera falling out and not moving at all horizontally, but any forward or backward tilt more than about 20 degrees can cause a sudden shift that will ruin your shots as the camera slides into quick release.
