Review on Hygger Sunrise Daylight Moonlight Adjustable Brightness Extendable by Andrea Gregoire

The light is only 10 inches long and 3 inches wide! The light cannot reach a width of 24 inches! It doesn't even reach 19 inches wide on my 8 gallon Hygger Nano tank! Last year I bought a starter kit for an 8 gallon Hygger Horizon LED glass aquarium with a 7W filter pump and 18W color LED light. Shown alongside a 10" light of this product which I purchased on this site. Unfortunately, the original light fell into the water shortly after owning the aquarium. The hygger lights say they're ok if they fall in the water. I waited for it to work on the side that fell into the water. It was dry for a long time. But now it's been about a year or a little over a year and it still doesn't work on the other side. So I'm looking for a replacement headlight. I saw the Hygger brand and sizes. This light was advertised as 14W 12-18" for $25. So I bought 2 because I saw that the light has a timer that will turn the light off and back on completely as a normal software function. The covers over the Light switches are poorly made and wear out with daily use!A year later the daily pressing of the controller can be seen in my photos and both lights have the same brand of light switch covers.So I thought it would be nice to include this new Hygger light I was wrong because the light only illuminates the center of an 8 gallon nano which is a poor width to length ratio of the light spread.It sits very low on the surface so it's nice.But this light is not as advertised!sorry to report this bad news as i have given this brand such good reviews in the past and bought 2 of their aquariums but there were cracks in both n aquariums which I have easily repaired. However, the value for money of the advertised information that caught my attention was deceptive. Trusting brands is essential with any purchase, especially when shopping discreetly online! If you have a 3.5 gallon cylindrical nano tank, this light may be for you. However, there are other lamps that are better and more economical for this size. I don't know what anyone would use this light for given the true capabilities of the light and the price. This is not the best light source for my 8g Hygger Nano tank.
