I was hoping for this skirt. I read reviews that it was cheaply made but still took the risk. I was looking for a custom made Matelasse white bed skirt at a reasonable price but I think you get what you pay for. While the bed skirt fitted my queen size bed perfectly, it had two distinct tears where the skirt meets the fabric above the spring block. Photos are attached. The part that goes over the box spring is made of the cheapest, thinnest and most fragile paper-plastic. And if you iron a skirt, what do you have to do to smooth out the creases, don't you dare, touching the iron with the synthetic fabric for even half a second, otherwise it will melt and ruin the iron. Why the manufacturer chose this material, if the skirt itself is decent enough, I don't know. But in the end they made a product that is useless because it breaks instantly. I spent half an hour ironing my skirt, removing all linens from the bed, lifting the mattress, putting a new skirt, assembling the bed, but in the end I found two big holes. What a waste of time and money. Revain is not allowed to sell this product and it has to be recalled due to a defect. i will return it *UPDATE: After I sent the torn skirt back and got a new one, I just took it out of the box and it was ripped in EXACT PLACES like the other skirt.
