Gray market model, works well
2 years after receipt I was quite happy with the performance. I got the impression it was refurbished but just found out it wasn't actually intended for sale in the US. This means no help from Canon, the serial number cannot be registered. I also don't live near anyone who can service it on site so I'm a bit stuck. So disappointing. I still love the camera myself, but next time I will definitely buy a new one through Canon. I regret this purchase.
