Bought these for my son to wear on a hike in Zion National Park and they fit great. They fit me so I have worn them a couple of times and they are really very comfortable. There is quality. The straps are soft so they don't cut into skin, but they are strong so I don't think they will rip or tear. Your foot feels secure which is what you need when walking, especially on water like him. The arches on the soles of the feet have a healing effect, making them pleasant to walk on. If your kids need hiking sandals, I definitely recommend these!
