Review on ⌚ Casio Classic Round Analog Watch for Women - LQ139B-1B by Carrie Thompson

I read almost ALL the reviews before deciding to buy the CASIO LQ139B-1B Round Ladies Analog Watch. I wanted a durable watch that I could leave washing up and I wanted to be able to check the time without having to take out my phone or put on my glasses to see the numbers on the face and I wanted it have a second hand to check my pulse. (Yes, I'm still ticking!) My wrist circumference is 6.5 inches and this CASIO watch is a small, low profile watch. The bracelet fits my wrist perfectly. Of the 7 holes in the strap, #7 being the loosest, I have the strap at hole #5 and 1 inch above the wrist bone. The strap tucks nicely into the loop without being too long or too short. If worn on a #6 or #7 hole, I don't think the band will get stuck in the loop (UPDATE: it doesn't). The dial is advertised as white but appears to be a bit yellowed so the background isn't as sharp as I'd like and the base lines are thinner than I'd like, but I can still tell the time without my readers read off. The crown and stem are very small and awkward to lift and pull out, but thankfully you don't have to reset time often. for everyday adventures with the following caveat. After a few days of wearing it, I noticed that the strap doesn't snap into the small loop. Clings to clothing and just sticks out, requiring frequent smoothing. I wanted to return the watch but had to pay return shipping directly to the carrier. For a ten dollar watch, returning the product isn't worth my time or money so I'll just give it away. I am changing my rating from 5 stars to 3 stars. Maybe good for a child.
