I bought six aprons! In my search for the perfect shop apron, I came across six well-tested and ready-to-use aprons, so I decided to have a shootout. Conclusion: The best apron for the workshop is the Hudson Woodworking Edition. The best leather apron is QeeLink. I'd be happy with any of them - except Angry Beaver. Full Breakdown: Flipzon Work Apron https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07Q19DT8R/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Pros: Cheapest, lightest and most comfortable, high quality leather accents. Cons: cheap belts, unusual pockets, color (subjective). Summary: The Flipzon work apron is an attractive, lightweight, and comfortable item that I have seen in a variety of work environments. Very convincing for the price. I would say the main downside is the situation with pockets: while leather chest straps are nice to look at, they are only good if your harness has clips. None of my construction pencils fit, so I wouldn't trust them. While the main pocket is quite roomy, the side pockets are too narrow for almost all of my hand tools. I can't think of any other use for them than storing straw. Finally, the straps are nylon and have no shoulder pads, buckles, or a cross strap connector. This is not a classic brown color, this is a good choice. Price, quality leather, Cons: Cheap straps, heavy, color (subjective) Summary: LEASEEK's leather welding apron differs from a quality apron in several ways. It was averagely comfortable, had cheap nylon straps and a plastic cross strap at the back, and was quite orange and speckled in color. That being said, the leather appeared to be of good quality and the smell wasn't as noticeable as some reviewers had suggested. I have a good sense of smell and this apron didn't bother me. Conclusion: In my opinion, you get a good offer for a cheap leather apron. However, a little more, you could do a lot better. Also, the woman thought it was the ugliest thing, so here it is. QeeLink is excellent. ★★★☆☆Angry Beaver - Apron made of waxed canvas https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0774CRW1P/ref=ppx_od_dt_b_asin_title_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1#customerReviews Pros: paint, metal eyelets, hammer loops Cons: slippery shoulder pads , Poor fit, too short Summary: Of all the aprons I've tried, there's only one flaw, and here it is. Although it was perhaps the prettiest apron in terms of color, it fit relatively poorly and it seemed like it was just trying to gather in the middle and get shorter - and it's already too short. All pockets are the same and too small unless they only hold screws. What was striking in comparison was the missing cross strap on the back. Worst of all, the shoulder straps didn't adjust well and just fell sideways onto my arms. Overall: Nice canvas and attractive color but otherwise it's a bit messy. You could do a lot better. ★★☆☆☆ Apron Leather Work Shop by QeeLink https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B079KDMV1Y/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1#customerReviews Pros: extremely comfortable, high quality leather, pocket layout Cons: cheap Belt. Summary: This is the most comfortable apron I've tried on hands down. It feels light yet protective, has a nice leathery smell despite what some reviewers have mentioned, and has great pocket placement. The orange color may seem a bit long to some, and it's probably too long for my 5'7" height, but I really like this one. If it had better quality straps with shoulder pads or a hammer loop, this would be the best. All in All: If you want skin over canvas this is for you.If comfort is most important it still is.But if you want the straps to be a bit more premium then read on.=1 Pros: extremely comfortable , high quality straps, metal grommets Cons: limited number of pockets, color may vary from picture Verdict: I'll be brief - this one is very comfortable, has great shoulder straps and a leather crossover strap, and everything just feels very well made all around The color is much lighter than the photo, more like a deluxe. The packaging is also convincing. The only downside is that the pockets are not as good as the Hudson. All in all: if you don't e want to spend 5 euros more for a Hudson, this is more than a serviceable shop apron and more convenient. If you don't need that much for bags, I would choose these. dh=UTF8&th=1 Pros: all the bells and whistles Cons: price, rigidity. Summary: Look, this one is simply the best. It's a great colour, great quality fabric and straps, a great range of deep and closed pockets, hammer loops, metal eyelets etc. The only complaint I have is that this is the toughest among such stiff competition. It wasn't that comfortable at first, but after riding a few miles it got easier. I was most torn between this and QeeLink simply because I love the feel of nice leather, especially with this particular apron. But at the end of the day, the Hudson is just sheer quality and I know it will last me a long time. So for me that's the best keeper. Overall: If you can afford it, this is the best. ★★★★★
