Review on Francois Mimi Large Ceramic Coffee: Elegant and Functional Brewware for All Coffee Enthusiasts by Jason Unruh

I had high hopes for these mugs because they are so cute. I was concerned that some of the mugs would be damaged in transit given all the comments about breakage, but they were well packaged and none of them were damaged. However, I will be returning them for the following reason: 1) I received 2 green cups and not the purple cup. I purposely want all the different colors (so each person has their own mug and can keep track) - so I was disappointed that I didn't get a real selection of mugs; and 2) they are "wide". I have other 16 ounce mugs that take up less space. They are 2 1/4" in diameter at the base and 4" in diameter at the top. With a handle, this mug is nearly 6 inches wide. It takes up a lot of space and I just don't have room for 6 cups that take up that much space. All in all they are cute and if you have a lot of space in your closets and don't mind that you might not get all 6 colors - then you should buy them! But if space and colors are an issue I would recommend ditching these cups. She.
