Scale is OK (+/- 0.3 lbs). You don't have to pay a premium for it. To use all other features, you need to create an account. Then you know what information they collect. You don't need that much information. They collect everything you do online. very creepy. They appear to be selling this product to collect user data (and sell it). Update 12/21/2018 - I am a fan of Anker products and they provide great customer service. I like the scale and it looks good on me. Anker contacted me about my concerns about using the eufy app. I don't like the app's privacy policy and terms of service. So I can't comment on the scale's smart features. I will not use smart features unless they change the privacy policy and terms. I will continue to use scales without intelligent functions. Anker offered me a product to compensate for my inconvenience. Regardless, I love the scale (no smart features) and will continue to buy their products. If you're buying this scale for its smart features and don't care about its privacy policy (or if you're just buying it as a scale), make a purchase. updated my review for 2 things. 1) no issues with the scale 2) excellent customer service as usual
