This is a great product for the price. I have used them to light the background when photographing products for my business and have been pleased with their performance. Very bright for the price with a nice white color. I lost a star because the LED bulb in one of the lamps was loose and fell out easily. I haven't tried filters. Application Tips: These lamps provide a relatively narrow beam of light, so you will likely need some form of diffuser. If you can afford it, a brighter set of LEDs will save you a lot of trouble in post-processing. They weren't bright enough to illuminate the background, especially with the diffuser. Contrary to some reviewers, I found that the lights sit firmly on their stand and don't tend to tip over. Legs fold into case for easy storage. Make sure you have an extension cord handy as the plugs are only about 4 feet long.
