Mira makes excellent containers. I also have a set of three squares, but they're especially good because they stack together. They're very nicely made and the tops are airtight (provided you press firmly to seal properly, which isn't difficult, but practice a few times before tossing in your purse or bag). I'm celiac and carry these containers in my (big) bag filled with crackers and long shelf life pouches of cheese or hummus, nuts, olives, whatever so I always have something to snack on if I happen to be somewhere what does not fit. Is there anything safe for me to eat? I have never leaked or opened a Mira container in my purse. I have a lot of good plastic snap jars and Tupperware-like things, but these stainless steel jars are much better. My sister-in-law even commented on how cute they were when I pulled one out of my purse at the restaurant with gluten free toast. I think stainless steel with a waterproof plastic lid is something of a "best of both worlds" food storage solution. Stainless steel is better than plastic, but stainless steel is rarely fully sealed unless the lids are screwed on, which are hard to find. They run great through the dishwasher. I highly recommend it.
