Although I bought this on purpose because I wanted the oil to "squirt/splash" it squirted out. Sure, it's a thin stream, but it's concentrated so it comes out in one spot, so (in the case of lettuce) I have to use short bursts and aim it at different areas of the lettuce to cover it. Still uses less oil which is great but not what I expected. For cooking, it should be used in the same way. I'd rather spray it. I'll keep looking and use it for something else.
