These are great soft support shoes for left foot metatarsalgia and I'm sorry they didn't fit me. The left shoe fits perfectly. The right boot was too short. The shoe comes with a nice supportive insert that is removable. I removed the insole from the right boot and replaced it with a thinner insole from the drugstore. When I tried them on I thought I had solved my problem - there was a little more room in the right boot. So that day I wore shoes both to work and for a walk after work. At the end of the day, the big toe on my right foot hurt. The right boot was too short. Having worn these shoes for many hours on varied terrain I did not even ask for a return/exchange. I am very disappointed that I have a rather expensive pair of shoes that I cannot wear. I was considering ordering a second pair in a larger size and just using the right shoes, but just don't want to spend any more money on these shoes.
