As for me (I have asthma and allergies so I'm more sensitive), I woke up with a slight sore throat after sleeping on it for about 3 hours. I went to another room for 15 minutes, put on an N95 mask and fell asleep in it, on the couch with this on, and I woke up normally with no signs of throat irritation.
