My 2008 Nissan Pathfinder has a 12 volt outlet. This outlet makes a clean 12 volt source easily accessible for this add-on. Remove the side panel. A quick hole with a hole saw, next to it another socket and cable connection. Plate back and done. It really is that easy to install.
