Review on SureGuard Twin XL Mattress Protector: Waterproof, Hypoallergenic, Premium Cotton Terry Cover by Anita Barlow

I have just replaced my queen bed with two double beds, one for me and one for my dog. I bought a pair of these pads for my dog bed. I usually like quilted but this one fits well and seems to be a good product overall. I am using one on my bed until my quilted one arrives. I don't notice that it overheats me or that it's uncomfortable at all. It has nice smooth lines and a nice feel. However, after reading the reviews, I was very concerned that it might not be waterproof. Accidents don't usually happen, but I want to make sure this good new mattress is protected. I will have to check it out. If things are as bad as some of the reviews say I'll probably return them. PS I poured some water on the corner of the sheet and the sheet and mattress pad got wet, but the mattress stayed dry. Hooray! I also don't like the washing instructions as I usually use bleach on these items and I think drying on low will take quite a long time.
