Firstly I didn't know it was an adhesive product when I bought it. The description used the word "suction cup" which made me think it would be attached to the wall with suction cups. This product does not contain divided cups, only two long adhesive tapes to attach to the wall. The instructions didn't say anything about how to remove this adhesive, so I wasn't sure it wouldn't leave anything on my tile if I decided to remove it. Unfortunately, I can't tell you whether it stays on the wall. Assembly instructions are very sparse (although they are available in multiple languages). Step 1: Assemble (oh, did the description mention you need to assemble it?). This won't help much as steps 2-4 are all about installation. Luckily, assembly is fairly easy, although poor mechanical design causes two problems: 1) The sides are attached to the shelves with a bolt and nut. Such a consumer product should not require a nut (and the included wrench); It should have threaded holes, so you only need one screw. Call the guys at Ikea if you need design advice. 2) These side pieces should be at right angles to the shelves, but the whole thing curls up easily. There needs to be some notches or guides to keep the sides square, not just because the consumer keeps them perfectly right by tightening two screws. I do not recommend this product.
