Review on πŸ”Œ Twozoh Coiled HDMI Cable - 4K HDMI Extender Cable, Supports 3D, 4K UHD, 1080p, HDMI 2.0a 2.0b 2.0 1.4a (Extends up to 1.5M/5FT) by Doug Hook

Not compatible with HDMI 2.0 or 18 Gbps (cannot reliably handle 4K60 at 10-bit 4:2:2)

I bought this cable to use between the Canon EOS R5 and the Atomos Ninja V. I believe the maximum possible bandwidth used by the two devices is 14.84 Gbps with DCI 4K output at 59.94 fps in 10-bit YUV 4:2:2 mode. , which must be supported by any HDMI 2.0 compatible cable. In fact, the cable supports speeds of up to 18 Gb/s, which is a big spread compared to the 15 Gb/s required to record in this mode. The symptom is that Ninja often loses the video signal. I have confirmed these settings work fine between Ninja and R5 using a different (uncoiled 6ft) HDMI 2.0 cable. On the plus side, I had no issues with 4K at 29.97 fps at 10-bit YUV 4. :2:2. So if that's your max spec, the Twozoh cable works great.

Pros
  • Cables and Connections
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
