**Updated 2/26/20** The company refunded my money very quickly. They also let me test a new brush that has no paint on the bristles. Works perfectly. I give them a few stars. They really seem to want a good product and value feedback. I bought this comb two months ago and at first I really liked it. It has very strong bristles that feel nice on the scalp (mileage may vary depending on this as strong bristles can hurt a little depending on the pressure you use). However, after two months of use, I realized that the bristles need to be a bit longer. They are shorter than the ones I've used on other brushes. But what really made me give this one star review is that the white coating on the bristles will flake off and end up on your hair (for a second I thought I had dandruff!). It appears to be white in color (see attached photos). I'm not sure what the purpose of this cover is other than looks. Very strange. I know it's just a comb and not the end of the world (there are other reasons for the end of the world - he's fat, orange, lies a lot and lives in a white house), but you use a brush every day. It should be durable and last a while. Not two months and then wash the color off your sexy mane. Hopefully the color is lead free.
