I am very disappointed in this product. We buy a lot of M&D products because we love wooden toys. It's usually well done, but it's not. First, it is too difficult for younger children. I bought this for my 20 month old and he can't figure out most of the shapes. It was my fault for not paying attention, but I feel like adding an octagon, hexagon and parallelogram would have been too much for this age group. That makes it too complicated, which spoils the fun. Second, wood is cheap. My kids are normal kids, they can be rough at times, but my 20 month old is definitely gentler than his sister. On the second day the firewood cracked and on the third day the lid broke. All he did was push her and she collapsed. Very unimpressed.
