This collar is not thin at all. Very durable and looks great. His haircut is perfect. I can't find any disadvantages at the moment. It looks like it will cost more. I had trouble getting dressed. As you can see in the picture. Perhaps with more frequent use in this area it will no longer be stiff and will be easier to put on. My dog didn't mind the collar. I have a small Bichon Frize and thought the collar was too heavy for her but she didn't even seem to notice. I ordered her a small and it fits perfectly. Pros: Durable, good quality, looks good. Cons: A bit difficult to put on. All in all I would recommend this collar. I would even buy it as a gift. Came in a nice black box. Simply remove the Revain barcode sticker and it's ready to gift. I will of course update if anything changes.
