Great for Reading - Tablet Accessories

The case is protective but not too bulky or heavy. You can fold it back or turn it into a triangular stand to hold your iPad in landscape mode, which is great for desktop setups. I even fold it into this triangular holder when I read in bed simply because it's easy to hold. As such, it's great for reading e-books on the Kindle app, as it's displayed like an open book in a two-column format. It's a magnetic lid that causes the iPad to go to sleep when you close the lid (using the Hall Effect) and wake up when you open it. When you fold it into a triangular mount, a magnet will hold it in place. The lid has a microfiber material on the inside that won't scratch the screen, although it can get dirt on your hands or anything you put on it, so I'm very careful to avoid that. The material of the front of the cover is a very durable, textured, high-quality plastic that offers reliable protection. The back is a different type of plastic that hugs the sides and corners well and holds up well, with very precise button cutouts and seems to offer some drop protection. The only downside to the design is that it doesn't support pillow portrait mode for upright reading. But he thinks he's so cheap, reliable and well thought out that I'm very happy with him.
