Love the strap; it is beautiful and great quality. BUT it was too big. The belt measurements apply ONLY to the leather part up to the middle hole. This leaves a span at the back of the buckle from where the leather strap attaches to the prong strapping it into the hole, ADDED to the gauge for accurate sizing. This may be known to those who have bought belts like this before, but I didn't know. So as they say add 2.75 inches to the measurement they give you. This is the circumference of the strap that attaches to the center hole. The belt has 5 holes, each exactly 2.5 cm in the middle. I hope this helps someone avoid the costly shipping to return a beautiful belt that doesn't fit!
