I'm so sick of wooden brushes! Sure, they look really cute, but it doesn't take long and they start looking cool! Mold grows on them and they get smelly. Wooden brushes hold water too long, causing mold and mildew problems. I decided to try these brushes and I'm not even sorry. The bristles are a little softer than I'm used to, but I don't hate it. I have a lot of exfoliating products. I just need something to help me reach the middle of my back so I don't have to try to do a shower circus! You are excellent at this task. I love that the brush doesn't stay wet forever and as someone said I can throw it in the dishwasher for a deep clean when needed. My brushes were securely wrapped in plastic with protective caps over the bristles. . Upon arrival they were in great shape. One brush had a few shaggy bristles, but that didn't really bother me. Now they just look great. It only needed to be used a few times, exposed to steam and thrown back a bit. No damage, no foul. For the price you really can't go wrong.
