When I received this product, I was very excited because of the many good reviews and the unbeatable price. only to be disappointed. I have very severe sinus infections and needed something that would stay warm for a while and stay in place on my face; It turned out to be the product I was looking for. Anyway, after I heated the mask as instructed, it gave off an odd chemical/plastic smell. It was gross for me from the start but unfortunately my head and eyes hurt and I needed to find relief immediately so I gave it a try. Needless to say, I wasn't overly impressed. The heat lingered but didn't reduce the pressure in my head that much, and when I took it off I was immediately surprised to find my vision was completely blurry! For example, I had to hold the mask instructions an inch from my face to see legible writing (check if I did anything wrong - I didn't). I then asked my husband to google what could have gone wrong (there was nothing better at the time) and luckily we found that no chemicals got in my eyes. as I originally thought. This was caused by the direct pressure of the mask on my eyes. This is reportedly considered dangerous to your eyesight, is common with cheaper masks, and is quite common. Anyway, long story short, this is just food for thought if you're looking for masks and want quality relief, not just a quick fix like me. By the way, my vision cleared up after 30-40 minutes, but it was really scary not knowing what was happening. Again, this can't happen to you, but be aware of what you're buying.
