I really like this light. The perfect solution to replace the cord light (not a wall switch) in our hallway closet. At first I found it too bright, but I find it just right. The motion detection is just fantastic, it works whenever we go into the closet or put our hand inside to take a coat or keys. It stays on as long as you're there without turning off, then automatically turns off about 20 seconds after it stops detecting motion. It's completely silent (we had moving lights that "clicked" when turned on) and a great bright white. I also like the feature that it won't turn on during the day if it detects outside light. You have the option to turn it on always or only when it doesn't see any other light. This is a great light and I would buy it again! Update November 2020: This lamp seems to have grown by itself. Turns on almost all the time, even when no one is around. I'll be in the next room and the light will come on, then go off, then come on again. Now I'm buying another lamp :(
