Not bad but very bulky for a mid 2015 15 " MacBook Pro

So it's not a terrible case, the design is pretty decent and the build quality is good. However, I have it mid 2015 Bought to use with my MacBook Pro 15" and it's just really bulky. Of course it has 360 degree protection, but it's just a giant fluffy (and bulky) ring of material that surrounds your entire laptop, as far as I know. This is a universal laptop bag, but I wouldn't say it really fits into one MacBook Pro "fits". Sure, it fits in your pocket, but it's REALLY bulky for the size of the laptop. At least part of the benefit of a Mac laptop is its thinness. and this case effectively doubles that by adding a few inches in each direction. It's just that I personally don't like holding it in my hands, it's like a bulky pillow to carry with me. Now to the pros. It's half the price of Incase, Booq, or similar models designed specifically for the MacBook Pro, but that should be the case for economies of scale, as this case is likely to fit dozens of laptops. It appears to be good, and the build quality appears to be good. Also, the bag is a good size and fits a lot of items, so that's a definite plus. I think it all boils down to one question: if you don't care about bulk and want a cheaper laptop bag, this is probably a good choice. If it's important to keep your MacBook Pro smooth, that's exactly what I'd avoid.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
