Revainrating 4 out of 5

Ideal for home or small business

I bought the non-HD version so I couldn't set up video recording and jet viewing. (tried to find some cheap HDD). There are two USB ports on the back of the NVR for mouse and keyboard (and device upgrade). Installation: 1. I had an old monitor that I connected to the NVR. I used the VGA output (on newer monitors you can use the HD output).2. I connected the NVR to my router3 with a Category 5 cable. I connected the cameras to socket 4. After booting the NVR, I logged in (admin/admin)5. The video feed from the cameras started (automatically configured network gateway, registered cameras and started streaming, everything was up and running in less than 2 minutes ;) This is the easiest NVR system to implement I have ever seen. Note: I love the fact that you don't need internet to set up the system. It would be nice to have a power button on the NVR (on the front you only have one hard drive, power on and restart indicator). There's a slight lag from the camera, but nothing to worry about. Motion detection is near perfect (as is the fact that body and face detection is possible). The picture quality is just great. You have the ability to adjust image settings such as brightness, contrast, hue, saturation, etc. so you can take good pictures even in dark, low-light conditions. broad dynamics and digital intensity. Night pictures are amazing. You can set motion detection and sensitivity (you can also set region to avoid alarm when your dog walks around the house ;)) System settings are default, like time setting, language, save date. You have the ability to create users with different permissions, such as determine whether motion detection is recorded) Alarm function is limited to sending emails, showing messages on the screen and sounding the alarm on the NVR, but I like that you can set up an alarm when disk error occurs or there is no disk space. I didn't have a hard drive to test what happens when the drive runs out of space (I'll try to update the review). Note: I love the fact that you don't need internet to set up the system. Ideal for small businesses or home security. Keep in mind that the Wi-Fi signal will decrease depending on how far the cameras are from the NVR (how many walls between them, heavy installation or pipes...). The available mobile app is Tuya APP software (also works on iPhone). Overall Positive experience, everything you need at a good price. This system can be compared to systems that typically cost over $200.
