This lidded butter dish is just what we were looking for, nice, heavy and with a handle on the lid for easy lifting. I searched and searched for an enclosed oiler that my husband could safely use as he has a disability and cannot lift things without dropping them. This butter dish meets our needs and is beautiful. We both love the look of Craft Glass, plus it brings back memories of when we were kids when our moms and grandmothers had butter dishes like this. It's a decent weight and not too light, plus it fits a stick of butter, leaving room for the odd sized chunks of butter left over from baking. Definitely recommend this dish for its functionality and ability to blend into any kitchen decor.
