I was looking to buy a tea set for my 8 and 4 year old daughters, all the ones I looked at were so tiny that the paint wasn't labeled as non-toxic or safe. Why a kettle that you can't drink tea in? Why buy something you think is unsafe? I bought this cream and sugar set along with the mustard teapot which I love too! I paid next to nothing for them and the girls love them. My youngest dropped the sugar bowl, I got scared but lucky it didn't break! Unless a 4 year old can break it, it's safe to say that the items you see from Amsterdam are quite durable. I am very happy with the set. I also bought a colorful espresso set and the cups are a great addition! I wish I could upload a picture, the girls love this set so much! Don't waste your money on children's teapots, which may contain toxic paints. Take the real ones, I really got cheaper!
