I know it's supposed to be an end table but I think the top at 11.75 inches in diameter and 21.25 inches in height is pretty small for that purpose. So we didn't use it for that. We decided to use it as a stand for a small houseplant. And for that purpose, it's a really great little table. The assembly of the table is very simple. There are only three. Upper, lower and middle post. You simply screw the center pole to the base and then screw the top to the other end of the center pole. That's all. You can assemble the table in about a minute. The details of the table appear well made and the assembled table is surprisingly heavy. I placed the table on my postal scale and the solid acrylic base weighs 7 pounds 4 ounces. The total weight of the table is 11 pounds 9 ounces. I've included a photo of the table along with a standard size bottle of wine and a can of soda in this table map. I hope this helps you better understand the overall size of this table. All in all I think this is a really nice little table. I just think you need to be really aware of the overall size of the table before ordering one. Also, the top and bottom parts are acrylic, so I think it won't be too hard to scratch them.
