The distance from the bottom of the foot to the top of the foot where the tongue is sewn is 1/4 inch to small. This puts a STRONG painful pressure on the top of the foot even when both straps are fully untied.Had to return the item.9/6/2021 Got a size 6.5 DOUBLE WIDE direct from SAS Shoe rather than a plain width from Revain and this solved my problem. The shoes are now comfortable and a great product that can work with the original insole. I've been looking for good shoes for weeks, months, years. The best I had was from Dr. Scholl with a large velcro and a width of 9.5. The factory stated that they have many rave reviews for this product. Therefore they have discontinued it and will not make it available. It was the best shoe with a low price and great comfort.
