We have already bought two of these space pods as our cat absolutely loves them. She hides in or behind them to pounce on prey, jumps on them to approach a toy, or just wanders in to cool off a bit. In addition, she uses coarser cardboard seams as a claw tower. She's happy to scratch something when she greets us, or show that she's happy with her playtime, or release her pent-up excitement while watching Cat TV. The fact that we have another safe outlet for their grasping instincts is great. It doesn't really scratch inside the capsule, but then again never managed to scratch horizontally. But she loves to scratch at the seams. This breaks the capsules into pieces, but it's a lot better than shredding household furniture, so we're incredibly happy with the results. When the capsule reaches the point where we can no longer see it, we buy a new one to replace it. And keep buying and trading until she gets tired of her. Now they are clawed cats' best friends.
